How long does it take to create a bespoke engagement ring in Hatton Garden?

Our bespoke engagement rings typically take 3 to 4 weeks to make once your CAD design is approved, around 4 to 6 weeks end to end from your first consultation. We work from our Hatton Garden studio and keep you updated at every stage with design previews and progress photos.

What is the price of a bespoke engagement ring at Hatton Garden Bespoke Jewellery?

Bespoke engagement rings start from £1,500. Most clients commission in the £3,000 to £12,000 range, with larger pieces up to £20,000. GIA or IGI certification is available on every centre stone. We accept all major payment methods.

Are your diamonds GIA certified?

Almost all our centre-stone diamonds come with independent certification from GIA or IGI. Smaller accent stones (under 0.25ct) aren't typically certified. Every certificate can be verified online.

Can I visit your Hatton Garden studio without an appointment?

We work by appointment Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Please book in advance so we can give you our full attention.

Do you offer ring resizing and jewellery repairs?

Yes. We take care of ring resizing, repairs, re-polishing and re-plating for you, so you don't need to go elsewhere. These are chargeable services; bring your piece in or post it to us and we'll give you a quote.

What is the difference between lab grown and natural diamonds?

Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically and optically identical to natural diamonds · the only difference is their origin. Lab grown diamonds are typically 50 to 70% less expensive than natural diamonds of equivalent quality. We can source both and advise which suits your budget and preferences.

Also please choose your perfect diamond from our Start With a Diamond and we will fit the diamond to the ring making sure it's perfect for you. All jewellery comes in a delightful presentation box.

How we make them

Our jewellery designers use current CAD tools to draw up each engagement ring we make, so no two designs are alike.

Every ring is designed in CAD and then finished by hand at the bench, using a jeweller's traditional tools.

Bring us your ideas and our in-house designers will help shape them into a piece that is yours alone.

If you have a quote from another jeweller, send us the details and we will do our best to match or better it.

Choose Your Engagement Ring

Begin by selecting a diamond using the Diamond Search Tool. Once you have found the perfect diamond, add it to your shopping basket. Next, choose a setting for the diamond from the Start With a Setting menu. Finally, select the finger size you require. If you are unsure of your size, use our Ring Size Guide tool.

After your purchase of the ring is complete, we receive the order and the work begins.

The creation of your ring will be done within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a specific date in mind, kindly provide us with the required date and we will make every effort to deliver it by that day.

After your order

Once your ring is ready, we will arrange a time for you to visit our Hatton Garden studio, try it on, and see the finished piece up close.

Our return policy gives you a 14-day window, in line with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Before you commit, we encourage you to book a consultation. Our team will talk through every aspect of your commission and show you examples of past pieces we have made.
