Oval Sapphire diamond ring in platinum

Oval sapphire in a lobed halo

An oval blue sapphire in platinum, held by six claws inside a lobed halo of round diamonds on a plain shank. The stone sits above the halo rather than inside it, so the blue is lit from the side as well as from above, and it reads a size larger for it.

Step-cut diamond, bezel and halo

A square step-cut diamond in platinum, set in a full bezel inside a geometric pavé halo with milgrain edges and diamond-set shoulders. A step cut flashes rather than sparkles, so the sparkle was given to the halo around it and the stone was left to do the flashing.

Three emerald cuts, bezel set

Three emerald-cut diamonds in yellow gold, each in a full bezel on a wide triple-band shank. There is not a claw anywhere on it. The three stones sit flush and the gold does the framing, which is why the ring reads as one piece rather than three settings.
