Our gents' wedding rings are designed for the way men actually wear rings, with robust profiles, the metal of your choice, and finishes that age well. A polished D-shaped 22ct gold band that nods to tradition, a brushed platinum flat band, a dual finish that mixes matte and polished, a hammered artisan texture: each commission is made to order and hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
Metals for men's bands. Platinum is the premium choice, dense and naturally white, and resists scratches well. Palladium gives the same white appearance at a lower weight and price. We also offer 18ct white, yellow and rose gold, 9ct gold (harder and more affordable), and titanium (light and hypoallergenic). Every precious-metal band is hallmarked; titanium pieces are engraved inside with the ring size and metal.
Width ranges from 4mm (understated, pairs well with smaller hands) to 8mm (substantial, traditional). 5mm to 6mm is the most popular width for UK gents. Profile choices include court (most comfortable for permanent wear), flat-court, D-shape (traditional), flat (modern), concave (a distinctive dip across the outer surface), and knife-edge (a sharp central ridge).
Finishes and detailing. Polished for a classic high shine, brushed or satin for a muted look that shows less wear, hammered to hide knocks, sandblasted, and Damascus-style mixed-metal patterns. Groove-pattern bands and off-centre inlays are popular contemporary choices.
Diamond-set options are available: a flush-set single diamond on the outside for something subtle, or channel-set lines in the eternity style. See also all wedding rings and our bespoke process. Pricing. Gents' bands start from approximately £450 in 9ct gold, £750 in 18ct gold, and £1,100 in platinum. Book a fitting at our Hatton Garden studio.
