Designing a bespoke piece

We design and make bespoke engagement rings, wedding and eternity rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets to order. Each piece is designed with you in CAD and finished at our bench in The Goldsmiths' Centre, Hatton Garden, with casting and stone setting carried out by trusted specialist workshops and hallmarking by the London Assay Office.

Ring settings start from £910 and complete bespoke rings from £2,000, with most commissions between £3,000 and £12,000. CAD design carries a £350 fee, credited to the commission, and you receive a full, itemised quote before any work begins. Natural and lab-grown diamonds are sourced to your brief, with GIA or IGI certification available on centre stones.

The bespoke process in four steps

1. Design consultation

Our process for crafting personalised jewellery begins with a design consultation. At this stage, we thoroughly discuss your ideas for the design, be it an engagement ring or any other type of jewellery. Bring any images or sketches you have; they help us see what you have in mind.

2. CAD design and approval

We will collaborate with you on the CAD design to create a computer-generated image of your piece, whether it is a ring, a pair of earrings, a pendant or a bracelet. It shows how the piece will look in real life, and we refine it with you until it matches your specification before anything is made. CAD design carries a £350 fee, which is credited to the commission.

We design each piece to suit you and to last. Occasionally, our clients' designs may not be suitable for everyday wear. So we talk through the structure of the design with you, to make sure it will wear well.

3. Selecting the stones

After finalising your engagement ring or jewellery design, it is time to choose the diamond or precious gemstone.

Choosing a diamond or precious gemstone usually means balancing trade-offs, such as carat weight, colour, and clarity. We will talk through the options with you and help you decide which matters most to you. That way the stone you choose suits both your style and your budget.

Based on your criteria and preferences, we will put forward a choice of diamonds or precious gemstones for you to consider. We will also give you full details of the centre stone, including any flaws, however minor.

4. Finished at the bench

When you have approved your design and selected your diamond or precious gemstone, we begin making your piece.

It is cast and set by trusted specialist workshops, finished at our bench in Hatton Garden and hallmarked at the London Assay Office.

Common questions

What jewellery do you make to commission?

Engagement rings, wedding and eternity rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets and tennis bracelets, each designed with you and made to order. If you already own a stone, we can design a new piece around it.

Where is my piece made?

It is designed in CAD and finished at our bench in The Goldsmiths' Centre, Hatton Garden. Casting and stone setting are carried out by trusted specialist workshops, and hallmarking is done by the London Assay Office. Laser engraving is done in our studio; hand engraving goes to specialist engravers.

How much does bespoke jewellery cost?
