Our bespoke engagement rings typically take 3 to 4 weeks to make once your CAD design is approved, around 4 to 6 weeks end to end from your first consultation. We work from our Hatton Garden studio and keep you updated at every stage with design previews and progress photos.
Bespoke engagement rings start from £1,500. Most clients commission in the £3,000 to £12,000 range, with larger pieces up to £20,000. GIA or IGI certification is available on every centre stone. We accept all major payment methods.
Almost all our centre-stone diamonds come with independent certification from GIA or IGI. Smaller accent stones (under 0.25ct) aren't typically certified. Every certificate can be verified online.
We work by appointment Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Please book in advance so we can give you our full attention.
Yes. For a ring we have made, sizing down is complimentary and sizing up is quoted individually, depending on how much metal we need to add. For a ring made by another jeweller, resizing is a chargeable service, quoted once we have seen the piece. Repairs, re-polishing and re-plating are chargeable services too; bring your piece in or post it to us and we'll give you a quote.
Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically and optically identical to natural diamonds. The only difference is their origin. Lab grown diamonds are typically 50 to 70% less expensive than natural diamonds of equivalent quality. We can source both and advise which suits your budget and preferences.
Begin with a setting from our Start With a Setting page, choosing the design that speaks to you, and complete your order online, or reserve it at consultation. Pair it with a stone from Start With a Diamond, and we will set the two together and finish the ring by hand at our Hatton Garden workshop. Every piece arrives in considered presentation packaging.
Our jewellery designers use current CAD tools to draw up each engagement ring we make, so no two designs are alike.
Every ring is designed in CAD and then finished by hand at the bench, using a jeweller's traditional tools.
Bring us your ideas and our in-house designers will help shape them into a piece that is yours alone.
Our quotes are fixed and itemised before any work begins, and because you deal directly with the workshop, the value is consistently strong for Hatton Garden.
Start by choosing a stone with our diamond search, and complete your order online, or reserve it at consultation. Choose a setting from Start With a Setting, and select your finger size. If you are unsure of your size, our ring size guide will help.
Once your order reaches us, the work begins. Where a design calls for it, we prepare a CAD rendering for your approval before the piece is made. Your ring is then finished by hand at our Hatton Garden bench, hallmarked at the London Assay Office, and delivered to you fully insured in considered presentation packaging.
Typical turnaround is three to four weeks. If you are working to a particular date, let us know and we will do everything we can to meet it.
Once your ring is ready, we will arrange a time for you to visit our Hatton Garden studio, try it on, and see the finished piece up close.
Because each ring is made to your specification, it is exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected, so if a piece is faulty or not as described we will repair, replace or refund. If anything arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours.
Before you commit, we encourage you to book a consultation. Our team will talk through every aspect of your commission and show you examples of past pieces we have made.
From our Hatton Garden workshop, where our founder has worked since 1999, we design and finish every commission to the same standard.
